Donna who runs Nu Scape Designs is a wonderful Landscape Designer with very creative ideas. Both our front and backyard needed to be updated- especially after we had drainage problems and were forced to dig up the whole yard! It was a challenging 35 year old yard with a lot of pipes that needed to be covered. Donna has great ideas and even carried out the work in between the dreadful fires this year. She truly created relaxing areas and it will be much easier for us to maintain. We were referred by my mother in law. Donna did a beautiful job on her two yards. She also used nice pebbles and pretty rocks to highlight areas. She encouraged us to use” easy to lift fake rocks” to cover wires and boxes that we sometimes need accessibility. She told us about low fencing to cover the ugly pipes. I always hated looking at them before. She had us change to modern soft hoses and pretty garden hose pots which makes my life much safer! She provides estimates before starting any job and it is very easy to communicate with her through text. She told us about products to use on rocks and pebbles to secure and bring out color. I highly recommend her. I will share some of my photos. I am updating my review: Although Donna is talented( great ideas) the gardener that she used for our job (Roberto) was not good. . He did not listen to us at all. I had to hire a professional sprinkler company to redo the grass sprinklers in front and back as he planted the grass higher than the sprinklers could reach. He also covered drains with grass. We had her gardener check our drips on the hill. Not great! I had to inform her, but the job was done months ago. We have been hand watering to compensate for poor sprinkler job. One must be careful with drip systems, too. It is constant maintenance and repair on the hill, as rabbits and squirrels eat the parts. I used Miltee’s Sprinkler Repair to correct her gardener’s mistakes. I still think she is a great landscaper, but wish she did not use this gardener. The job was well done, besides this problem.

My husband and I were very happy with the design and work that Donna and her team did for us. Donna is very knowledgeable about her plants and used some interesting and unusual varieties in our landscape. She also helped with our lighting. You will not have a copycat lawn when you use NuScape Designs. Donna is very responsive to texts and questions and has good contacts with people in her industry when we need other projects accomplished. I highly recommend NuScape Designs.

I had Nu Scape install turf in our backyard after a consultation and it turned out way better than I could have imagined. Donna is a real landscape designer and that is the difference! We did pavers and created a whole new space in the backyard with a spa! Thanks NuScape!!

Donna has helped me make my dream garden come true. She has a real gift for understanding color and design, and selects plants that work well together.
